I knew you from afar. You didn't know me, but I use to envy your popularity. I had to make peace with myself in order to write this. I gave you a hard time and I feel so bad because I didn't get a chance to know you. Maybe we'll meet again amongst the clouds. May God Bless you & your family.

I knew Carmen for many years, since she was a little girl. As I watched her mature into a lady I could see the seeds of GOD coming forth in her life. We are celebrating the life of one who came and lived life in just 17 years. We can learn a lot from Carmen like how to live and not waste time on idle things. A life so young accomplished more than a life so old in years. Let's step back and each evaluate our own life. What is it that's keeping us from being productive? Why are we idle when we have life, health, and a sound mind? What is it? Are you mad at someone? Are you waiting for someone to drop a million dollars in your lap? Ask yourself, Why is my life not as productive as it should be? Well, we can come up with 101 excuses, but none of them will add up to Carmen. She didn't find excuses of why she couldn't do something, instead she found every reason why she had to do something. Her main reason was because she had so MUCH to do in so LITTLE TIME. Let's honor the life of this great angel by getting those things done that we need to complete. The grave is not full with her destiny and that is why her spirit lives on through the people she touched and the things she accomplished. She is my inspiration. Love, Your Friend

Same Middle Name
Hello! I knew Carmen from school. She was in my homeroom and second period and we also had classes together last year. She was a wonderful person. When they made the announcement at school it broke my heart! I wondered why would God want to take such a precious person from the world. The week before we were talking about her college plans and then the next week she had passed away. I finally realized that God took her because he needed a very special angel! I have cried a lot about Carmen. I always thought it was neat because we have the same middle name. Marie. Carmen was a very special person and im glad that you created this site so the world can know something about Carmen and know what they are missing! Thanks and Bye. Faith Holloway

A Sweet Person
Carmenita was such a sweet person and she will be missed dearly. I loved her very much and I feel like the better half of me is gone. We had so much in common and we had planned to pursue the same dreams.

PRAYER:
May today there be peace within you. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content knowing that you are a child of God. Let his presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, and to bask in the sun. It is there for each and everyone of you.

The will of God will never take you:

Where the grace of God cannot keep you,
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you:

Where the Spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the army of God cannot protect you,
Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you:

Where the love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the mercies of God cannot sustain you,
Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you:

Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the omni presence of God cannot find you.

"Everything happens for a purpose. We may not see
the wisdom of it all now but trust and believe in the Lord that
everything is for the best."
The way to be anxious about nothing is to be
prayerful about everything.
